Find your balance

Meet Julie

Julie is a vinyasa yoga and meditation teacher and an Ayurvedic Health Counselor.

She has dedicated herself to the practice, study, and sharing of yoga since her first experience with yoga over 12 years ago. She was enamored with the practice after her first class, the rhythmic movement felt soothing and helped her feel embodied with strength.  She practiced and studied yoga alongside becoming a Physical Therapy Assistant. She began to realize that the focus, stress relief, and connection she was experiencing would be wonderful for her clients.  Julie dove deeper into yoga philosophy, receiving 300 hours of Yoga Therapy training, learning yogic healing practices for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, cancer and chronic pain.

She began learning more about Ayurveda, which helped her heal from burnout, and she knew that she wanted to share this healing practice along with yoga.  Julie aims to create a welcoming and inclusive feeling in her yoga classes, and to support you in finding vitality and balance through Ayurveda. She feels it is an honor, and her purpose, to share what she has learned about our amazing ability to heal and thrive through yoga and Ayurveda.

Client Testimonials

“I met Julie Myers through my yoga practice, and she was also one of my instructors when I did my yoga teacher training. During the training, she talked about Ayurveda- I'd never heard of it, and I wanted to know more. Through our discussions, I knew that Ayurveda was for me. Julie is brilliant, and so intuitive that she’s able to share her brilliance and knowledge in gentle ways. With just some simple additions to my daily diet , I am changing imbalances in my doshas to be less dry - and I am craving things that suit me and my body better. Ayurveda is powerful- and the way Julie is able to share her knowledge is key. Simple additions to my daily life have made me feel so good! I appreciate Julie’s way and her ability to help me. Ayurveda goes hand in hand with my yoga practice . I am stronger and have more endurance and energy since coming to Julie.”
